Week 2 Ghana MTC

January 29, 2020 Hey all! Thanks for the emails this week. Things have been crazy busy here at the MTC. We got a new MTC Pres, President and Sister  Craig (from Utah). Super nice guy, he challenged us to read the book of mormon before we leave this tuesday and I'm pretty sure I'm the only missionary who is going for it. Right now I'm around ch 14 of Alma, reading 50-70 pages a day. Between that and  the 8-10 hours of classes a day I'm pretty crammed. French is going good, having a comp and district that only speaks French has been a real blessing because I'm forced to speak french all day. I'm already starting to feel comfortable teaching and sharing in French. Our mtc pres challenged each of us district leaders to pray for our district members by name each night. I've been doing it and it's been such a special experience! At times I've received inspiration to pray for something specific for a certain elder. The Lord will bless us when we h...

Nathan arrived in Africa! Week 1 at the Ghana MTC.

Ghana Week 1 Hey everyone! This is my first weekly email. Right now it's 2:02pm, wednesday the 22 of January. This is my first P-Day and I was at the temple this morning until almost 1 so I don't have much time to email anyone individually. Sorry about that, hopefully I'll have more time next week. I've got 20 minutes to get my laundry out before they'll throw it out of the washing machines, so I'mma try to crank this email out as fast as I can. I don't know if mom is gonna post this or send it to everyone but at the moment she's gotta figure it out. ok here it goes Flying sucks, I had like 20 hours of flights back to back and it was pretty rough. especially when the really nice flight to London from dallas had all the movies you could think of.
